vear is a streaming and recording app that allows users to utilize their own 3D avatars. The app supports VRM, a 3D avatar file format for VR, allowing users to upload and use their VRM model files from iCloud Drive.

One standout feature of vear is its ability to apply facial expressions to the avatar using ARKit's face recognition technology. From the moment the app launches, users can see their own facial expressions mirrored on their avatar. The avatar's body angle also adjusts naturally based on the neck angle, giving it a more realistic appearance.

Another exciting feature of vear is the ability to add motion through motion capture. Users can connect two devices, with one device serving as a tracker. The movements detected by the tracker are then transferred to the other vear device in real-time, allowing the avatar to move accordingly. It is recommended to use the tracker in a spacious area, at least 2 meters away from the user's entire body.

vear also provides users with the freedom to customize their virtual background. Users can choose from a wide selection of free images from their album or opt for spherical images taken with RICOH THETA. Additionally, it is possible to set backgrounds for composition purposes, such as a green background, facilitating easy editing with favorite post-recording equipment.

A notable feature of vear is its distribution function using ReplayKit Live. This allows users to easily distribute their content on popular streaming platforms such as Mirative, Ichinana, and TwitCasting.
